Croația pune condiții pentru aderarea Muntenegrului la Uniunea Europeană

Croatia is pressuring Montenegro to resolve historical disputes as Montenegro aims to join the EU by 2028. Croatia has raised concerns over unresolved issues in negotiation chapters related to justice and foreign policy. Prime Minister Andrej Plenković emphasized the need for progress on these matters, which have lingered for years. Croatia supports Montenegro's EU accession but insists on addressing these disputes, including compensation for Croatian citizens detained during the 1990s conflict. Despite these issues, Croatia has not blocked Montenegro's negotiation progress, with Montenegro having provisionally closed 21 of 33 negotiation chapters.
