Criza migrației: Germania vrea o forţă de intervenţie rapidă în cadrul Frontex

Germany advocates for the establishment of a rapid response force within Frontex to assist EU member states facing sudden migration pressures at external borders. Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt emphasized the need for a new support mechanism during a press conference in Munich. This force would be capable of providing necessary assistance within 24 hours. The European Commission plans to present a strengthened mandate for Frontex soon, allowing for quicker and more flexible actions to prevent crises. The German government aims to enhance Frontex's role in return procedures, particularly through third countries. Additionally, Germany is collaborating with Denmark, the Netherlands, Austria, and Greece to create return centers outside the EU for rejected asylum seekers, despite criticism from the International Rescue Committee regarding the approach.
