The Ministry of Energy has announced a €500 million funding initiative to support investments in photovoltaic panels with integrated storage batteries for public entities. Applications will be accepted online from September 28, 2023, until November 20, 2026, or until the budget is exhausted. Eligible applicants include various public institutions, local authorities, and recognized religious organizations. The funding covers up to 100% of eligible expenses, with a maximum of €10 million per beneficiary. Projects must demonstrate energy cost reduction for public services and are expected to be operational by December 31, 2029.
