Criza din energie ar putea lovi Metrorex prin reducerea numărului de trenuri

Due to the energy crisis, Bucharest's Metrorex may reduce the number of old IVA trains, which consume a lot of energy. The company is considering cutting back on these trains, primarily operating on Line 4, to save energy. Experts suggest that reducing service during peak hours could be more effective. Metrorex is also awaiting the delivery of new Alstom trains, which have been delayed despite a contract signed in 2020. The new trains are expected to improve service on other lines once operational.
