Criza de motorină ar putea să se prelungească până în 2027 - AIE - Economica.net
Limited diesel supplies may continue into next year due to significant stock reductions and constrained production ahead of winter, according to the IEA's latest report. Refining margins for diesel reached record highs, driven by reduced capacity linked to the Iran conflict. The IEA noted that prolonged supply disruptions have led to stock declines contrary to seasonal patterns. Diesel supply fell by 1.7 million barrels per day in Q3, impacted by the Iran conflict and reduced Russian output. While a recovery in global refining activities is expected by year-end, it won't fully offset the accumulated deficit. IEA member states are coordinating to release 100 million barrels from strategic reserves to stabilize prices amid rising political and economic pressures. Diesel prices are already causing widespread economic consequences, increasing costs and affecting real incomes and inflation.
