Criză de medici de familie în Maramureș: 49 de localități au deficit / CAS a elaborat o strategie pentru perioada 2026-2030
In Maramureș, 49 localities face a shortage of family doctors, prompting a strategy for 2026-2030 to address this issue. The plan includes measures to improve access to healthcare in rural areas, such as establishing secondary work points and financial incentives for doctors. Currently, 90 active doctors are eligible for retirement, with 54 over 70 years old. The goal is to ensure no locality with critical shortages lacks a formal solution by 2030. As of December 2025, there were 197 family doctors in the region, falling short of the required 282, particularly in rural areas where coverage is only 68.96%.
