Rodriguez emphasized that the embargo impacts daily life, leading to severe electricity shortages, water supply disruptions, and healthcare challenges. He noted a rise in infant mortality rates attributed to resource shortages in the medical system. The minister criticized the U.S. sanctions as a form of collective punishment against the Cuban people for political reasons.
