Cristina Trăilă, fost secretar general adjunct în guvernul Bolojan, trimisă în judecată de DNA
Cristina Trăilă, deputy secretary general of the Romanian government, has been indicted by DNA for complicity in influence peddling. The case is set for its first hearing on October 28. The indictment was filed at the Bucharest Court of Appeal due to her status as a lawyer. Ilie Bolojan, the Prime Minister, was questioned as a witness regarding his interactions with businessman Fănel Bogos. Prosecutors allege that Trăilă assisted in exerting influence to replace a director at D.S.V.S.A. Vaslui, aiming to secure benefits for Bogos' company, including a €3 million compensation approval and reduced veterinary inspections.
