Cristiana a creat bocanci capabili să încarce telefonul şi GPS-ul. Soluţia elevei pentru militarii în misiune

A student from the Military School in Sibiu has developed smart tactical boots that convert walking into electrical energy, aimed at supporting soldiers in the field. The boots utilize piezoelectric discs in their soles to generate electricity, which is stored in a USB-compatible Li-Ion battery. This innovation addresses the need for energy independence for military personnel during missions, especially in remote areas. The project faced technical challenges, particularly in integrating the piezoelectric materials and optimizing the energy collection circuit. The prototype demonstrates how standard military gear can be enhanced to serve additional functions.
