Cristian Bușoi spune că situația energetică este sub control: „Ziua de vineri se anunță dificilă”

Cristian Bușoi, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Energy, claims the energy system is currently under control despite the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant's suspension. He noted that domestic production is at maximum capacity and the Rovinari 4 reserve group is operational. Increased wind energy production is also aiding the situation. However, Friday is expected to be challenging due to high temperatures, leading to increased imports. Bușoi anticipates no significant impact on electricity prices if the Cernavodă plant reopens by the end of August. He emphasized the need for continued support for the Turceni 5 group to operate beyond August 31 without affecting PNRR funds.
