Cristian Bușoi: „Prețurile la benzină și motorină rămân ridicate. Ce s-ar putea întâmpla dacă se redeschide Strâmtoarea Ormuz”

Cristian Bușoi, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Energy, states that fuel prices in Romania will remain high due to limited influence on market dynamics. He highlights that the rising costs of transport and insurance, along with the disconnection between crude oil prices and refined products, contribute to this situation. While reducing excise taxes may have a limited impact, the current pricing mechanism's future is uncertain. Bușoi notes that a potential reopening of the Strait of Hormuz could significantly lower global oil prices by increasing supply, which would affect local prices as well.
