Cristian Bușoi: Energia eoliană reduce presiunea pe importuri. Producția ar putea trece de 1.000 MW • Newsweek România

Cristian Bușoi highlighted the significant role of wind energy in electricity consumption, predicting an average production of 500 MW this weekend, potentially exceeding 1,000 MW. This increase in wind energy is expected to reduce reliance on imports, especially during lower consumption periods. Bușoi noted that Wednesday's imports were lower than anticipated, aided by the operation of Unit 2 at Cernavodă. However, this unit is now offline due to low water levels in the Danube, with a disconnection process expected to last at least ten days.
