Cristian Bușoi, despre repornirea Cernavodă: „Nu putem face o prognoză pentru luna octombrie”
The restart of the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant remains uncertain, with no forecasts available for October. Cristian Bușoi from the Ministry of Energy stated that the situation is still reserved due to low Danube water levels. He dismissed the possibility of reopening in December, emphasizing the inability to predict even for October. Romania faces serious energy system issues as drought has significantly reduced the Danube's flow, leading to reactor shutdowns. Special measures for energy supply safety will continue for another 30 days, with the Danube's flow potentially dropping to critical levels in early October.
