Romania is in a better position than other European countries regarding natural gas supply for the upcoming winter, according to Cristian Bușoi, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Energy. He emphasized the country's significant internal gas production and protective measures for consumers. Bușoi noted that Romania has the highest gas production in the EU and will further enhance this with the Neptun Deep project starting in 2027. He assured that consumer protections are in place to mitigate price increases. Despite challenges in the European gas market, Romania's proactive measures and internal resources will help navigate potential crises.
