Cristian Buşoi anunță cu cât ar putea crește prețul energiei după oprirea Unității 2 de la Cernavodă

Romania currently relies on high-priced energy imports, which could lead to a 10-15% increase in consumer bills if the crisis persists. The controlled shutdown of Unit 2 at Cernavodă began today, with no risk of blackout, as wind and solar energy will help meet demand. Bușoi emphasized that the economic justification for activating reserve production is lacking due to high costs. He also mentioned the careful use of hydro energy to reduce imports, while ensuring nuclear safety during the shutdown.
