Cristian Bușoi anunță că Grupul 4 de la Rovinari va fi redeschis

Cristian Bușoi announced that Group 4 of the Rovinari coal power plant will resume operations to reduce energy imports amid rising temperatures and increased consumption. He stated that nearly 300 megawatts will be added to the National Energy System, with sufficient coal stocks for the week. The energy situation in Romania has been stable, with peak consumption below 6,000 megawatts. However, the drought continues to affect the Cernavodă Unit 2, which remains closed due to low river flow. Bușoi emphasized the need for careful management of energy reserves.
