The Timiș Tribunal sentenced two minors involved in the murder of 15-year-old Mario Berinde. M.D.A., aged 15, received a 15-year detention sentence and must pay over one million euros in damages. The second minor, B.R.P., was given a six-month daily assistance measure. A third minor, R.M.D., aged 13, is not criminally liable. The crime was premeditated, with the two older minors planning the murder for a month before attacking Berinde with a hatchet and knife. After the murder, they attempted to conceal the crime by burning and burying the body. The decision can be appealed.
