Creşterea dobânzilor obligaţiunilor de stat agravează criza datoriilor în economiile dezvoltate (Fitch)

Fitch Ratings warns that rising government bond yields are straining public finances in major developed economies, complicating sovereign debt stabilization. Countries like France, the US, and the UK face significant fiscal challenges due to increased borrowing costs. The average yield on ten-year government bonds has risen by 81 basis points this year, with total government debt projected to exceed $75 trillion by 2026. France must reduce its primary budget deficit significantly to stabilize its public debt, while the US is expected to have the largest budget deficit among developed economies. Fitch anticipates substantial increases in public debt-to-GDP ratios for several countries by 2030, highlighting the difficulties governments face in managing deficits amid high interest rates.
