Creștere spectaculoasă a pensiei minime în Ungaria. Unii vârstnici ar putea primi aproape dublu

The Hungarian government plans to increase the minimum old-age pension to 120,000 forints starting January 1, 2027, benefiting many elderly citizens. Prime Minister Péter Magyar announced this measure as part of a broader social package aimed at improving the living standards of low-income seniors. The government also intends to eliminate VAT on prescription medications and reduce VAT on firewood. Additional benefits for pensioners are being developed, including further pension increases and annual support through the SZÉP card. These changes may also impact the Hungarian community in Romania.
