Creștere masivă a prețului energiei electrice pe piața spot de la București în august, prețul s-a dublat în ultimul an. Iar septembrie a început și mai rău - Economica.net

In August, electricity prices in Bucharest's spot market rose by 26% compared to July and doubled compared to last year, driven by low generation and high consumption due to heat. The average price reached 793 lei/MWh, with September starting even higher at 1,036 lei/MWh. The energy system faced challenges due to reduced hydro production and limited nuclear output, while solar energy peaked at record levels. Despite increased battery installations, storage capacity remains insufficient for evening demand, leading to reliance on imports and higher prices. The situation is compounded by ongoing hydrological issues, affecting regional energy markets.
