Crescătorii de porci din România primesc de la Comisia Europeană un ajutor de 11 milioane de euro

Romanian pig farmers will receive €11 million in state aid from the European Commission to offset rising costs due to the Middle East crisis. The funds, totaling nearly €59 million, aim to support farmers affected by increased fuel and fertilizer prices. Grants will be provided, with a maximum of €50,000 per enterprise, to cover additional costs incurred from March 1 to December 31, 2026. The European Commission confirmed that the aid scheme complies with METSAF conditions and is necessary to support the pig farming sector without distorting competition within the EU.
