Crescătorii de ovine şi caprine ar putea primi până la 50.000 de euro pentru investiţii destinate prevenirii apariţiei şi răspândirii bolilor în ferme
Sheep and goat farmers can receive up to €50,000 for investments aimed at preventing disease spread in farms through the DR-21 initiative. The funding is available for registered farms with at least 150 animals, covering 90% of eligible project costs. A total budget of €9 million is allocated, with project submissions allowed until the funding cap is reached. The initiative focuses on enhancing biosecurity measures to protect livestock from diseases like peste des petits ruminants and sheep and goat pox. Eligible expenses include equipment for disinfection and quarantine systems, among others.
