Creditul neguvernamental a crescut cu 8,2% în ultimul an

In August 2026, the non-governmental credit balance increased by 0.9% compared to the previous month, reaching 476.691 billion lei. The lei-denominated credit, which constitutes 66.8% of the total, rose by 0.8%, while foreign currency credit expressed in lei, accounting for 33.2%, grew by 1.1%. Year-on-year, non-governmental credit saw an 8.2% increase, driven by a 4.3% rise in lei credit and a 17% increase in foreign currency credit. Government credit also rose by 1.3% from the previous month to 289.809 billion lei, marking a 13.2% increase from August 2025. The broad money supply (M3) reached 813.337 billion lei, up 0.5% from July 2026 and 8.3% year-on-year.
