A 56-year-old woman from Buzău was scammed out of 450,000 lei by individuals posing as foreign actors online. One suspect impersonated the famous South Korean actor Park Seo-joon, convincing her to invest money under false pretenses of high returns. Police conducted searches in Dâmbovița related to the case, which involved a man and a woman aged 47 and 19. The victim was misled into transferring funds for supposed investments that would yield significant profits. Authorities seized documents and electronic devices during the investigation, which is ongoing under the supervision of the prosecutor's office.
