A 56-year-old woman from Buzău was allegedly scammed out of 450,000 lei by two individuals posing as the South Korean actor Park Seo-joon. They convinced her to send money for investments in interest-generating assets. Police conducted searches in Dâmbovița related to the case, which involved online deception. The suspects, aged 47 and 19, misled the victim by claiming to be foreign actors and requested funds under the pretense of guaranteed future profits. The investigation is ongoing, with evidence collected for further proceedings.
