Creatina ar putea ajuta la creșterea masei musculare chiar și fără sport, arată un nou studiu
A recent study from Texas A&M University indicates that creatine can enhance muscle mass and strength in adults aged 45-65, even without exercise. The 12-week research involved 73 healthy, sedentary adults, with participants receiving either creatine or a placebo. Results showed that those taking creatine gained an average of 1.1 kg, while those combining it with exercise gained 1.3 kg. Muscle strength also improved, particularly in leg press and bench press exercises. While the findings suggest creatine may help maintain muscle mass and strength as people age, it is not a substitute for physical activity. Further research is needed to confirm cognitive benefits observed in the study.
