Costul ridicat al traiului afectează piața auto. Șapte din zece români aleg mașini second-hand
The rising cost of living is impacting the auto market in Romania, with 70% of buyers opting for used cars. New car registrations are concentrated in Bucharest, and hybrid models are preferred, while the second-hand market is dominated by diesel vehicles. In the first half of the year, nearly 65,000 new cars were registered, but many consumers choose older models with more features for the same price. Dacia leads new car sales, while Volkswagen tops the used car market. Electric vehicles are gaining traction, with 8,600 registered this year, but still represent less than 4% of the market due to concerns over range and charging time. Experts predict that the ratio of used to new cars will remain at 70% to 30%.
