Cosmin Ghiță, fostul director al Nuclearelectrica, va conduce din 2027 organizația mondială a operatorilor nucleari

Cosmin Ghiță will become the CEO of WANO in January 2027 after concluding his term at Nuclearelectrica. His appointment was announced during the WANO biennial meeting in Tokyo. Ghiță has been involved with WANO for several years and was the first Romanian on its Governing Board. He has led Nuclearelectrica since September 2017, and his current term ends on October 2, 2026, after which Mihai Laurențiu Gioară will take over interim leadership.
