The corvette "Contraamiral August Roman" conducted its first artillery firings since joining the Romanian Naval Forces, participating in exercises aimed at neutralizing drones. The crew engaged in various drills, including repelling enemy aviation and surface combat. This training took place in the Black Sea, where the ship also practiced search and rescue operations. The corvette is in the final stages of operationalization and will enhance naval presence in the Black Sea. Commanded by Captain Sorin Huruială, it is equipped for diverse missions, including surveillance and anti-submarine warfare.
