Corupție la Ministerul Justiției din Ucraina. Fost secretar de stat, judecat pentru furtul a 435.000 de dolari
A former Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Justice is facing trial for embezzling over 19.5 million hryvnias, approximately $435,000, from public funds through inflated procurement prices. The National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office have submitted the case to court, involving other officials and a private company. The scheme involved manipulating the ministry's budget to acquire overpriced IT services and multifunctional equipment. To create a facade of competition, offers were solicited from a pre-selected company and another less favorable one. The investigation revealed that around 10 million hryvnias were funneled into fictitious companies to conceal the money's origin. The accused include Olena Bohaciova, a key figure in the ministry during the procurement period, along with Maksim Volovik and Andrii Moroz. The case highlights significant corruption within the ministry.
