Three directors from Romania's defense industry have been placed under house arrest for 30 days due to corruption allegations. The accused include Mihai Rafiu, Tiberiu Alexandru Pîrvu, and Liliana Sorescu, all linked to Romarm. Prosecutors had sought preventive arrest, but the request was denied. The allegations involve receiving bribes for facilitating contracts and payments related to their official duties. Significant sums of money were reportedly found during searches, including around 500,000 euros at Pîrvu's residence. Investigations are ongoing against other individuals as well.
