Coreea de Sud cere un „regim de pace” cu Nordul. Lee Jae Myung propune reluarea dialogului
South Korean President Lee Jae Myung emphasized the need for mechanisms to manage tensions with North Korea during a speech marking the anniversary of Korea's liberation from Japanese colonial rule. He called for the resumption of negotiations with North Korea and other involved parties to formally end the Korean War, which has remained unresolved since the 1950-1953 armistice. Lee highlighted the importance of transforming the unstable armistice into a peace regime and suggested that dialogue could facilitate discussions on limiting North Korea's nuclear capabilities.
