Coreea de Sud a testat prima armă hipersonică produsă pe plan intern, la câteva zile după testul Coreei de Nord

South Korea conducted its first domestically produced hypersonic weapon test, following North Korea's recent hypersonic missile launch announcement. President Lee Jae Myung attended the test of a hypersonic glide vehicle, which is still in development. This weapon is considered a strategic asset capable of altering battle outcomes due to its unpredictable flight paths and high speed. Hypersonic gliders are launched into the upper atmosphere and can strike targets at speeds exceeding five times the speed of sound. The announcement comes after North Korea claimed its missile could change flight trajectory at low altitudes, although South Korea and the U.S. believe it can be detected and intercepted.
