Coreea de Sud a testat cu succes prima sa armă hipersonică autohtonă, o resursă capabilă să schimbe cursul evenimentelor pe câmpul de luptă
South Korea conducted its first test of a domestically developed hypersonic weapon, shortly after North Korea's hypersonic missile launch. President Lee Jae Myung oversaw the test of the hypersonic glide vehicle (HGV), which is still in the research phase. This weapon is designed to travel at speeds exceeding five times the speed of sound, making it capable of hitting strategic targets with unpredictable flight paths. The test aimed to assess material resistance to extreme temperatures and the vehicle's ability to fly at low altitudes while altering its trajectory. This development comes amid rising tensions with North Korea, which recently claimed to have tested a hypersonic missile using artificial intelligence. Relations between the two Koreas have significantly worsened, with North Korea labeling South Korea as its main enemy.
