A project team from the Railway Reform Authority, EGIS, and Alstom conducted the preliminary acceptance of two Coradia Stream electric trainsets. Ownership transfer to InterRegional Calatori will occur after endurance tests and acceptance report signing. The trains, part of a contract for 37 units, will operate on four routes in Romania. This investment aims to enhance interregional rail services and is funded through two operational programs, with a total value of RON 1.709 billion. The project duration is set for 24 months, focusing on improving public transport quality and connectivity.
