Copiii și adolescenții de eurppeni nu mai sunt sănătoși
A study involving over 417,000 children across 20 European countries reveals a significant decline in physical fitness over recent decades, with flexibility showing the most severe drop. Researchers highlight that over 75% of European adolescents fail to meet the WHO's recommendation of at least 60 minutes of daily physical activity, increasing the risk of cardiovascular diseases and premature mortality in adulthood. The findings indicate a consistent deterioration in muscle strength, flexibility, and body composition, with a notable rise in body fat percentage. The authors urge for more investment in programs promoting physical activity among children.
