Copiii Europei au tehnologia în mână, dar pierd din forța fizică. Un studiu pe aproape 500.000 de tineri arată cum se schimbă condiția fizică a noilor generații – Aleph News
A recent study reveals that European youth are experiencing a decline in physical strength, flexibility, and endurance over the past decades. The research analyzed data from nearly 500,000 children and adolescents aged 6 to 16 across 20 countries, showing a consistent deterioration in physical fitness since the 1960s. Key findings indicate significant reductions in upper body strength and flexibility, with cardiovascular endurance also declining since the 1980s. The study links decreased physical activity and increased screen time to this decline, noting that only 25% of young Europeans engage in sufficient daily exercise. In Romania, one in four children is overweight.
