Copiii din Merghindeal, ajutați înainte de iarnă: au primit haine și pături / foto

The Archdiocese of Sibiu distributed warm clothing and blankets to children in Merghindeal, supported by the Bavarian Red Cross, as part of the "Back to School" campaign. This initiative aimed to address the needs of local children and their families, enhancing their living and studying conditions. The event took place on October 7, 2026, organized by the Social-Philanthropic Sector of the Archdiocese with the blessing of Archbishop Laurențiu. The partnership included the local municipality and the involvement of priest Cristian Nicolae, highlighting the importance of collaboration between the Church, local authorities, and social support organizations. Merghindeal has previously benefited from charitable initiatives for its students.
