The company, linked to Gabriel Daraban, faces accusations of overpricing services exceeding 1 million euros. Ongoing legal disputes among shareholders, including the Daraban brothers, complicate the situation. Norwegian authorities have arrested five individuals related to the case, while Romanian investigations are still in progress. GDL has previously been implicated in corruption, accused of bribing a NATO official for contract favors. The company has reported significant financial losses amid these scandals.
