ANAF has conducted checks on over 800 ridesharing companies, revealing significant unpaid tax obligations totaling 424 million lei. The agency identified damages amounting to 370 million lei in 89 cases and confiscated nearly 150 million lei in cash and income. Measures totaling 400 million lei were also implemented. The main concern is the failure of these companies to declare and pay taxes for their workforce. Enhanced verification capabilities have been established for these firms, improving ANAF's risk analysis.
