The Intercommunity Development Association 'Botoșani Metropolitan Area' has signed a contract for the construction of Botoșani's ring road, valued at over 58 million euros, primarily funded by the European Transport Program 2021-2027. The project, led by Big Conf SRL, will take 24 months to complete and includes a 10-kilometer road with 18 bridges and four roundabouts. Mayor Cosmin Andrei envisions this as the first segment of a larger ring road to enhance the city's development.
