This decision follows a prolonged dispute over the municipality's emergency procedure, which was contested by other waste management operators. The court ruled in favor of a competing company, obligating the municipality to pay legal costs. The contract was signed in 2026 under urgent circumstances after the previous operator's contract expired, leading to a temporary lack of street cleaning services. The municipality is now considering establishing its own waste management company.
