Contracte pentru tranzacționarea gazelor între România și Bulgaria, pregătite de Bursa Română de Mărfuri

The Romanian Commodity Exchange (BRM) is preparing spread contracts to facilitate buying and selling across markets, following its acquisition of a natural gas exchange in Bulgaria. BRM aims to offer a variety of energy products, including spot and forward contracts, and has a central counterparty function. The new spread contracts will allow gas to be purchased in Bulgaria and sold in Romania, and vice versa, enhancing market liquidity and regional price harmonization. The product has passed technical tests and is awaiting regulatory approval, with BRM emphasizing the need for greater openness from authorities towards innovative market solutions.
