Contracte de muncă vechi de 1.900 de ani, descoperite la Roșia Montană, expuse la Muzeul Național de Istorie a României

Two ancient work contracts, nearly 1,900 years old, have been discovered in Alburnus Maior and are now displayed at the National Museum of Romanian History. These wax tablets, known as Dacian Wax Tablets or Transylvanian Triptychs, provide significant insights into the economic and legal organization of the Roman province of Dacia. Their discovery was linked to mining activities during the reigns of Empress Maria Theresa and Emperor Joseph II. The preserved tablets are crucial for understanding the practical application of Roman law, making them vital sources for the study of Roman legal history.
