The Brașov City Hall has initiated work to prevent the degradation of the Cetățuia on Straja Hill. Following these interventions, the site will partially reopen for visitors with a designated tour route and guided tours. The current phase includes removing cement plaster, trimming weeds, and repairing roof coverings to prevent water infiltration. This essential conservation stage prepares for future restoration efforts and the partial reopening of the monument. After these initial works, the city plans to enhance visitor access and begin restoration procedures.
