Consumul zilnic de roșii poate reduce riscul de boli hepatice

A recent study suggests that daily tomato consumption may lower the risk of liver diseases. Conducted by researchers in Italy, the study involved 79 adults with fatty liver disease. Participants were divided into two groups: one consumed 200g of raw tomatoes daily, while the other avoided tomatoes. After six weeks, both groups showed reduced liver fat, but the tomato group experienced a greater reduction of about 11%. Despite this, tomato consumption did not significantly affect liver stiffness or other health markers. The exact cause of the fat reduction remains unclear, though tomatoes contain anti-inflammatory nutrients that may play a role.
