Consumul în HoReCa se schimbă: Clienții ies mai rar, comandă mai puțin, iar restaurantele își regândesc programul / Bonul mediu, sub cel din 2024

Romanian consumers are dining out less frequently and are more cautious with their spending, prompting restaurants to adapt their business models. Radu Tănase from HORA states that the hospitality industry is not in crisis but undergoing a maturation phase. While the average bill remains stable, customers are more selective about their orders. Delivery services have gained importance post-pandemic, with fast food dominating orders. This shift in consumer behavior pressures operators to optimize costs and staffing. Many restaurants are adopting practices seen in Western Europe, such as closing on certain days and implementing breaks between lunch and dinner to manage reduced demand.
