Consum record de energie de peste 8.000 MW în România

Romania's electricity consumption exceeded 8,000 MW on Tuesday evening, with a production of only 5,873 MW, leading to significant imports to cover the deficit. The consumption reached 8,183 MW, surpassing previous monthly levels and estimates by Transelectrica. The country is under a national energy alert for 30 days, with measures in place to manage high demand, particularly during peak hours.
