Sibiu-based RETTER has achieved a European premiere by installing a 50-meter, 60-ton VFT beam at a 733-meter overpass on the A0 Nord highway. The operation, conducted overnight, aims to open the section between DN1A and DN1 by September or October 2026, seven months ahead of schedule. CEO Guido Retter oversees the project, which involves precise coordination and heavy machinery. The A0 Nord Lot 1 spans 17.5 kilometers and connects various localities in Ilfov and Giurgiu counties, with a contract value of 815.07 million lei, funded through the Transport Program.
