Consiliul Județean Timiș a semnat contractul de finanţare pentru Institutul Regional Oncologic
The Timiș County Council has signed a funding contract for the Regional Oncology Institute in Timișoara, allowing construction to begin. This facility will be the largest oncology hospital in western Romania, covering nearly 65,000 square meters and designed to be energy-efficient. The project, valued at approximately 1.65 billion lei, aims to enhance healthcare infrastructure in the region, addressing the high incidence of cancer cases. The institute will feature 250 beds, an integrated outpatient clinic, and advanced treatment facilities, serving patients from across the western part of the country.
